Our Story

In 2004 friends Patrick Burdass and James Iveson, together with their wives Ruth and Helen came together to create Wolds Way to Health. They set about creating a non-intimidating and friendly fitness club that would help the people of Driffield to achieve their personal goals in health and fitness. The aim of the business was to create a club where people young and old would feel comfortable and could get the support they needed to achieve their goals. 10 years later and we are still continuing and thriving and that is down to the systems we have developed so that whatever your position we can help you to get the results you want in an environment where you are encouraged and made to feel comfortable. Most notably Pam Stanforth who lost 10 stone and who's testimonial you can read on our site. More recently the success of the 12 week plan which has been developed by the club which has helped people not only to lose weight but lose inches! We have stuck to our principles even through the economic down turn and we have continued to help thousands of people to get fit, lose weight and generally just feel better about themselves. Over the years we have put together a team of trainers who work with our members on a one-to-one basis designing programmes suitable to their needs and line with their goals, and with the availability of classes such as kettle bell, bootcamp, group training and triathlon club there is something for everyone not matter of your age, weight or experience.
